Some of us don't recognize our potential. We live a life of "I can'ts" and "But I don't have's" and "I don't know how to's". We allow our fear of the unknown paralyze us from even trying.
Certainly, there are some things we just can't do, but we shouldn't dwell on our limitations. We need to concentrate on the gifts and abilities we do have. Look at Barack Obama. If this man let the fear of the unknown paralyze him he would never have had the courage to run for the highest office. There has NEVER been a Black President of the United States. I'm sure he had people snickering behind his back; waiting for the rug to be pulled out from under him.( Yeah..this N*&&er has some nerve thinking he could ever become President of the United States...blah..blah..blah..) He didn't let them stop him. He stepped out on faith, stayed focused and changed the minds of millions of people everywhere. He believed he was the right man for the job. Most importantly, he made us believe it too. God gave him the gift to lead, to empower, and to inspire others. His campaign slogan "Yes We Can" swept over our nation like rain during a drought and empowered us all to believe that we matter..we ALL can make a difference. Thanks to President Barack Obama "You can be anything you want to be if you put your mind to it" is no longer a catchy buzz phrase used to motivate some and to alienate others but a true statement for us all. We all have a responsibility to follow his lead. We owe it to ourselves to put our gifts to work! Think about this... If you could choose whatever you wanted to do for a living, what would you do? Why aren't you doing it? Don't let fear paralyze you from finding your true potential!
